I Fon Bambang joined Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) as a secretary/lab administrator in the Immunoengineering. She manages the day-to-day operational, organizational, and administrative functions of the group.

I Fon obtained her Bachelor and Master in Science degree from the National University of Singapore, where she has also worked as a research assistant and laboratory executive. Her research focussed on the role of Endoplasmic Reticulum protein 29 and Cytokeratin-19 in breast cancer progression. She has extensive experience in flow cytometry.
